By Subway

We are a 15 minute walk from the Porter Square T stop (Red Line).

1. Head southeast on Porter Square toward White Street.
2. Turn left at White St. (side street next to CVS Pharmacy).
3. Cross Elm Street and go up Hancock Street.
4. Turn right at Summer Street.

Summer Street Preschool is a half mile up Summer St, on the corner of Summer and Spring streets, across the street from St. Catherine’s Church.

By Bus

Buses that run parallel to the school on Summer St or Highland Ave include:

Bus 83 – Rindge Ave. – Central Sq., Cambridge via Porter Square Station
Bus 85 – Spring Hill – Kendall/M.I.T. Station; via Summer St. & Union Sq.
Bus 87 – Arlington Center or Clarendon Hill – Lechmere Station via Somerville Ave
Bus 88 – Clarendon Hill – Lechmere Station via Highland Avenue
Bus 90 – Wellington Station via Sullivan Square Station & Assembly Mall

Parking

There is street parking for Somerville residents on the side streets near the school. The school driveway is reserved for staff and daily parent helpers.
