The oldest group has moved on to discovering Antarctica and as part of their learning they made Leopard Seals out of paper lunch bags. The middle group worked on their flounders and starfish. Richard gave them clay to make flounders from, and sand and water for the flounder to live in. He showed them that if the flounder was covered in sand the sharks couldn’t see them, so they wouldn’t eat them! They also learned ...

Our yard is full of leaves and they have taken center stage in our outdoor play. Richard sweeps a path through the leaves, and the children follow behind. Yesterday the project theme was the ocean in the middle group. The kids learned about all the different creatures in the sea.
